Bruce Schwab – Ocean Planet Vandee Globe Part 1 of 8

To look at the diminutive Bruce Schwab you would wonder how he might even be able to contemplate more than 100 days at sea, with no stops and no assistance. This series explores just what makes an ocean racer tick, what drives him to be alone at sea confronting 80 foot waves and frigid howling winds in the Southern Ocean. Bruce was classified 9th overall becoming the first official Amercian finisher of the gruelling 25,000 mile race.
